International Network
Doctors of the World-USA is the autonomous affiliate of Medecins du Monde/Doctors of the World International network, comprising ten MDM/DOW delegations in Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. Each of the ten MDM/DOW delegations engage in a wide variety of health, human rights, and humanitarian assistance programs around the world. While the delegations operate independently within the international network - each with its own board, staff, and funding sources - the International Secretariat serves as a coordinating body, ensuring that the network adheres to common principles of health and human rights, and that projects are coordinated to ensure maximum impact. Together, the MDM/DOW network is active in over 90 countries.
